While people suffering from a severe substance use disorder or mental illness urgently need help to recover, their families have to overcome a crisis situation as well, while learning how to help their loved one who is suffering.
Beautiful Scars, Inc. group and individual family support groups are designed to follow our Recovery Model, ensuring everyone is heard and equipped with the necessary tools they need to help their loved ones in the recovery process.
Groups are Co-facilitated by Beautiful Scars, Inc. staff and family members of individuals recovering from substance use and mental illness.
Groups meet weekly and monthly to gain tools and resources needed during the recovery process.
Groups are confidential and embody a welcoming and nurturing environment.
Groups will allow family members to find strength in sharing experiences.
